Yala Peak Climb with Gosainkunda and Helambu trek starts after sightseeing of UNESCO world heritage sites in Nepal. With proper gears and climbing teams, we drive to Syabrubensi where our trek starts. We start walking through the forested route, pass cultural villages and Kyanjin Gompa before reaching the base camp of Yala Peak. On the trail, we cross verdant and pristine forest where we get to discover the exception kinds of floral and faunal species surrounded by emerald hills and mountain views.
We stop for 1 days at Kyanjin Gompa to ensure proper acclimatization at higher altitude and continue trekking through rocky trail to the base camp of Yala Peak. We summit the Yala Peak the next morning and retrace back to base camp before descending to the Langtang village. Next, we head towards Gosainkunda Lake and cross Lauribina Pass to descend all through the way of Helambu region. Gosainkunda is important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Helambu region is well marked with amazing landscapes and filled with full of apple trees and colorful monasteries.
The best time of the year to climb Yala Peak is during spring (March – May) and autumn (September – November). These seasons are defined for its favorable weather and incredible views. If you are okay with cold temperature, you can even endeavor the Yala peak trip in winter.
