This is one of complete package for trekking in Khumbu region as it includes the exploration of sparkling Gokyo Lake, crossing of adventurous Cho-La pass, magnificent view of Himalaya range from Kalapatthar and rewarding experience of steeping into the foothill of world’s highest peak with alluring scenery all around.

After an adventurous Trans-Himalayan flight to Lukla, we follow the classical Everest trail to Namche Bazaar and stop one more day for acclimatization. Then, we leave the main Everest trail behind and branch northwest to climb stunning Dudh Koshi Valley that leads us to Lake Village of Gokyo beside long fabled Ngozumpa glacier, largest glacier in the world. Early morning hike up to Gokyo Ri offers stunning sunrise view over Cho Oyu, Ghyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu.

We make predawn hike to conquer tough Cho La pass and make long descent to Lobuche. It is arduous, cold but rewarding trek. The trail further climbs to Gorak Shep and after lunch, we follow the rugged and steep route to Everest Base Camp. Staring before sunrise, we rise up to Kala Patthar that serves astounding view of Everest, South Col, Nuptse and the long fabled glacier below.
