Lower Dolpo Trek offers a spectacular trail through a mix of forest and arid countryside in the rain shadow behind the Dhaulagiri range. Dolpo region is sparsely populated but villages offer tantalising insights into the lives of the hardy Dolpopa, built around their Bön and Buddhist beliefs.
Trekking towards Dolpo region is one of the remote and picturesque corners of the Himalaya, which is bounded to the east and south to the massif Dhaulagiri and Churen Himal ranges. Trekking towards the Lower Dolpo Trail is considered as one the idyll unexplored trail lays in the isolated spectacular area of High Himalayan valleys to South and West to Jumal District.
