Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport (1,300m/4,265ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu: Exploration and trip preparation day.
Day 03: Free Day in Kathmandu.
Day 04: Drive (140 Km) to Syabrubesi or Timure (Nepal/China Border). Overnight Stay at Syabrubesi or Timure. 7-8 Hours Drive.
Day 05: Drive to – Kerung (2,800km/40km) After Immigration Process Drive to Kerung. Overnight Stay at Kerung.
Day 06: Rest and acclimatization day at Kerung
Day 07: Drive: Kerung – Saga (14,410ft) – 5/6 hour drive with lunch break
Day 08: Drive: Saga – Mansarovar (14,955ft/) – 9/10 hour drive/500km
Day 09: Puja at Manasarovar and drive to Darchen (4,575m/40km-1 hour)
Day 10: Today, we start Mt. Kailash Kora from Darchen .the first prostration point, Tarboch Flag Pole to Drira-Puk (4,765m). Overnight in Guesthouse or in tented camp.
Day 11: Continue circumambulate (Kora) from Drira-Puk to Zuthul-Puk (4,700m) via Drolma-la Pass (5630M). You can enjoy the view of stunning Gauri Kund just beneath the Dromla-la Pass. Overnight in guesthouse or in tented camp.
Day 12: Walk across the third and last prostration point, Zutul-Puk monastery and trek back to near Darchen and drive back to Saga
Day 13: Drive: Saga – Kerung. Overnight stay at Kerung.
Day 14: Drive: Kerung – Kathmandu. Overnight Stay at Kathmandu.
Day 15: Drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure
The Mount Kailash Manasarovar tour may open to Indian passport holders from May 2025.
